This position will be based in our Traverse City Branch.  As our Online Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the online account opening process. You and your team will be responsible for helping our customers execute seamless account opening of Certificates of Deposit and other products as we bring them online. The Online Branch Manager will assist in vendor selection processes and will need to be capable of creating and implementing processes and procedures for online account opening that follow banking compliance and regulations. At FNBA, building relationships and trust with our customers and staff is a primary focus so you must be able to engage in a professional manner that displays open communication, empathy, expertise and positivity.  A successful Online Branch Manager will have a minimum of two years’ experience managing direct reports with a detailed knowledge of deposit account opening regulations.     Responsibilities

    This individual will be responsible for all aspects of online account opening:

    • Lead a staff of (2) individuals to provide exceptional service to online customers.
    • Coordinate employee schedules to maintain service standards.
    • Meet with staff weekly, or more frequently, to discuss employee performance.
    • Provide staff with regular feedback on performance including annual goal setting.
    • Coach and evaluate staff in the performance of their duties; including defining goals and employee development.
    • Ensures branch staff are properly trained. Defines training curriculum and tracks performance.
    • Open new accounts using current account opening platform.
    • Develop procedures to create an efficient, compliant account opening process.
    • Participate in vendor selection process for new account opening platform.
    • Comply with all relevant regulations and follow all bank procedures.
    • Support branch deposit production by opening accounts in-branch as needed.
    • Other tasks as assigned.
    • Respond to all incoming calls and emails from customers within 4 hours.
    • Interface with the account-opening platform to open new accounts daily.
    • Help customers open Individual Retirement Accounts and Trusts directly.
    • Accurately book new accounts in Jack Henry 20/20 core.
    • Keep online account opening procedures up-to-date.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of two years’ experience managing direct reports.
    • Detail oriented with skills in record maintenance.
    • Detailed knowledge of deposit account opening regulations.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Word.
    • Courtesy, customer service, and tact are essential elements of the job. Work involves constant personal interactions with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
    • Requires effective communication with customers and/or other employees using common telecommunications equipment and computer equipment. Must be able to read, examine, and organize documents. May require the ability to sit/stand, for extended periods.
    • Position will often be in a busy office environment. The ability to multitask and focus in this environment is essential.
    • Hours are Monday-Friday
