First National Bank of America’s Loan Servicing Team is looking for a professional, genial, and highly organized Insurance Team Leader.  This role will provide support to the Insurance Manager, Insurance Team, and escrow customers while ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of insurance escrow funds and compliance with all regulatory guidelines.  The Insurance Team Leader will have an eye for detail, problem-solving abilities, a capability to work and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and strong written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate must also enjoy working in a collaborative and supportive in-person work environment, while maintaining compliance.

• Perform all duties of Insurance and Escrow Specialists
• Handle elevated phone calls to provide customer support, both internal and external, addressing borrower concerns, dissatisfaction, and feedback while following banking procedures, rules and regulations.
• Support team members with procedural and process inquiries
• Assist with the updating of departmental how-to’s and procedures as required
• Demonstrate professionalism in all forms of communication
• Maintain 1:1 meetings with assigned associates, no less than bi-weekly, reporting results to Insurance Manager
• Attend Servicing Manager meetings

• Engaging communication skills (telephone, e-mail, and in-person)
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Insurance or mortgage experience beneficial, but not required
• Bilingual communication, in Spanish or Portuguese, desired, but not required
